New start to my life!

So I recently watched a movie called "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" that was a complete eye opener for Devon and I.  We have been drinking tons of the Naked juices but really they are not as good for you as they seem since they are still processed.  So after watching this movie, I went out and bough my new toy.
This is the Jack La Lanne's Power Juicer.  This thing is AMAZING! Watch this video then you will see why I bought this juicer.  I really wanted to start now while I'm young by eating healthy and giving my body the best that it deserves. After only 1 day I feel amazing! I have more energy and I feel so great. 

I have decided to go on a 10 day juice fast.  I have been on it almost 24 hours.  I am really craving a hamburger or a taco but in 9 more days I can have a real meal.  You are allowed 2 meals a week. So my choice of meal is going to be a hamburger I have already decided. I will share with you what I have had so far on my juice fast.


DAY ONE

Mean Green

1 Bulk of kale
4 Stalks of celery
1 Cucumber
2 granny smith apples
½ lemon
Ginger root (thumb sized)
** I added 3 kiwi for flavor 

This juice sure sticks to it's name! It was GREEN and it was MEAN! It did not taste that great but it was not bad.  At times I ask myself WHY am I doing this diet?! 

DRINK UP! :) CHEERS!!

10 minutes into it... 

But then finally I got it all down. Boy was I proud of myself!! 
Later that night I made grape juice.  You would be shocked how yummy grape juice taste made from just the juice of grapes nothing else.

DAY 2
I did not follow a recipe for breakfast but the smoothie taste amazing I used:
A whole container of blackberries
2 apples
2 pears
10 strawberries
half of a cucumbers
2 nectarines 

Lunch

This one was very yummy.  Devon did not think so though. My friend Jenni was over and she thought it was good too so that makes me feel better that someone else thought it was not terrible. :p
This juice looked SO YUMMY ...

Till I stirred it ... haha!

Later this after noon I made popsicles out of watermelon and strawberries.  So easy to make just throw it in the juicer and you have the juice all done for you then put them into little containers. 

After a few hours you have ..

That is all the juice for the day.  Tomorrow will be another day full of amazing veggies and fruit! 
All in all today I have the following put into my body:
Blackberries, apples, pears, nectarines, cucumber, strawberries, celery, tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers, kale leaves, onion, garlick, spinach, and watermelon.

What will tomorrow bring?! :)
